Medication in School
In line with the duty, which came into force on 1st September 2014, to support pupils at school with medical conditions we are committed to ensuring that all children with medical conditions, in terms of both physical and mental health, are properly supported at Waterloo School so that they can play a full and active role in school life, remain healthy and achieve their academic potential.
If your child's medication has changed or has new medication that requires administering at school, please complete an "Administration of medicines and treatment consent" form, found here.
When medication is being sent in to school please complete the "Sending medication in to school" form, found here. This form should be signed by the escort/school staff receiving the medication.
When unused/surplus medication is being returned home, we will send home a "Returning medication to home from school" form, found here. This form will be signed by the member of staff returning the medication, the escort/parent/carer who has taken receipt of the medication. Once fully completed the form will need to be returned to the school office.
